時間介系詞 怎麼用？表示在某時間做某事時，一定會用到介系詞。不像中文都用「在～」就可以，在英文用法中，必須根據意義而選用不同的介系詞。例如長時間、短時間、特定，都要用不同的介系詞。

聽起來好像很複雜，其實不會喔！只要從概念了解就能快速掌握喔！一起來學習吧！

時間介系詞 用法

in：表示長時間

1. 介系詞in表示長時間的概念，in + 早上、下午、傍晚、月份、季節、年份、世紀等。
2. 舉例：

• +半天：in the morning (在早上)、in the afternoon (下午)、in the evening (傍晚)
• +月份：in January (在一月)、in February (二月)、in May (五月)、in July (七月)、in August (八月)、in December (十二月)等
• +季節：in spring (在春天)、in summer (夏天)、in fall/autumn (秋天)、in winter (冬天)
• +年份/世紀：in 2021、in millennium、in the 21st century (21世紀)

My brother usually does his homework in the evening.
(我弟弟通常在晚上做作業。)

Sarah was born in February.
(Sarah在二月出生。)

Some birds fly to warmer places in winter.
(有些鳥在冬天飛到溫暖的地方。)

on：表示特定的日子或時間

1. 介系詞on表示特定的日子或時間，on + 特定日子、星期、特定的早上/下午/傍晚等。
2. 舉例：

• + 特定日子：on my birthday (在我生日)、on the first day of school (在開學日)、on July 7th (在七月七日)
• + 星期：on Tuesday (在星期二)、on Wednesday (在星期三)、on Saturday (在週六)、on the weekend (在週末)
• + 特定的半天：on Sunday morning (在週日早上)、on the afternoon of Monday (在星期一下午)
• + 特定節日：on Mother’s Day (在母親節)、on New Year’s Day (在新年)、on Halloween (在萬聖節)

I got many gifts on my 17th birthday.
(在我 17 歲生日那天，我收到了很多禮物。)

What will you do on Thursday? 
(星期四你會做什麼？)

Dad usually gets up late on Saturday/on the weekend.
(爸爸通常在星期六/週末晚起。)

Children usually get lucky money on Chinese New Year’s Eve.
(孩子們通常會在農曆新年前夕得到壓歲錢。)

at：表示短時間

1. 介系詞at表示短時間，at + 時間、noon、night 等。
2. 舉例：

• + 時間：at twelve o’clock (在12點)、at 5:30 (在五點半)
• at noon (在中午)、at night(在中午)

I got up at eight this morning.
(我今天早上八點起床。 )

We will have a meeting at 14:00.
(我們將在 14:00 開會。)

My family usually read books together at night.
(我的家人通常在晚上一起看書。)

by：表示「在～之前」

1. 介系詞by表示在某時間之前，by the time/by June等。
2. 主要子句搭配完成式。
3. 舉例：

• by the time (在某時間之前)
• by next April (在明年四月)

The students will have graduated by June.
(學生將在六月畢業。)

By the end of last year, the company had increased their profits.
(到去年年底，該公司的利潤有所增加。)

不加介系詞的時間

1. 有些情況不用加介系詞。
2. 時間副詞是today/ yesterday/ tomorrow，不用加介系詞。
3. 有this, that, every, next, last時，不用加介系詞。

When did you go to bed yesterday?
(你昨天什麼時候睡覺的？)

George will visit us this afternoon.
(George 今天下午將拜訪我們。)

Luke goes to the gym every Sunday.
(每週日都會去健身房。)

Mia will get vaccinated next Friday.
